Sensor-suspension unit (DP) is designed to automate weighing operations when using lifting magnets.

The use of DP units along with the DPN-125 voltage transducers allows to optimize loading/unloading.

The obtained data of (un-)loaded cargo (i.e. cargo weights in a single cycle of lifting and transferring and the total of loading cycles per a single cargo vehicle) allows to check the factual volume of loading/unloading per a single hoisting machine (crane, forklift, etc.) against the declared volume.

The DP units are installed between a crane's hook and the chain sling of the lifting magnet.

The DP's power supply cable is attached parallelly with the magnet's power terminals. The data transfer from the DP to the operator's control unit is performed via interference-tolerant radio-channel.

The DP's casing protects the measuring unit from any kind of mechanical damage.

DP's features:

• automatic weighing at the loading/unloading;
• totalling the loading weight (calculation of a single (un-)loading session);
• recording the weight and the number of loading cycles per the current and previous freight car, as well as the weights and loading cycles (up to 250 cargo vehicles) into the device's internal memory;
• copying of the current and stored data from the operator's display. Storing (analysing) the data onto a personal computer (the data transfer can be performed by a SD memory card).
