Traverse

Traverse
Traverse
The traverse is a rigid sling as a metal structure (girder or a frame), hooked to the crane. The traverse is used when the hoisted load can't stand the stresses produced by a conventional flexible sling.

The traverse, undergoing bending is heavier but is less in height. The traverse, undergoing compression is, on the contrary, lighter but requires additional vertical room for the movement of the hoisting machine's hook.

The  traverses (electromagnetic traverse, lifting traverse) offered by our company are designed to mount a single or multiple magnets onto a crane to lift and transfer long-length metal, rails, slabs or other loads.

Moreover our company can manufacture not only a conventional traverse but also special-purpose traverses according to our customer's wishes (diagrams or drawings).
